How Quantik collects, uses, stores and protects personal data, for visitors to this website, for our clients, and for the audiences our campaigns reach.
1. Who we are
Quantik is a consulting and digital marketing company registered in India, with its office at 985, 80 Feet Rd, AVS Layout, Koramangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560034. This policy applies to quantikdigital.com and to the marketing services we deliver for our clients.
For personal data collected through this website, Quantik is the data fiduciary. For personal data we handle inside a client advertising, analytics or CRM system, we generally act as a data processor on that client instructions, and the client own privacy policy governs that data.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details submitted through our enquiry form: name, email address, phone number and the service you selected.
- The content of your message, including any business information you choose to share about budgets, goals or current performance.
- Details exchanged during audits, proposals, onboarding and ongoing account management.
- Billing information such as company name, GSTIN and billing address for clients.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser type, operating system, screen size and language.
- IP address, which we and our analytics providers may truncate or anonymise, and approximate location derived from it.
- Pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, referring URL and the search terms or campaigns that brought you here.
- Interaction events such as button clicks, form starts, form completions and outbound clicks.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries and prepare the audit, proposal or quotation you requested.
- To deliver our services under a contract with you or your organisation.
- To improve this website by understanding which pages and messages are useful.
- To send marketing communications where you have opted in or where we have a legitimate interest in contacting a business contact. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To measure and optimise our own advertising, including remarketing to people who have visited this website.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations and to establish or defend legal claims.
Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, your consent for non essential cookies and marketing emails, our legitimate interests in operating and promoting a business, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies, pixels, local storage and similar technologies in four groups.
- Strictly necessary for the site to function, including security and load balancing. These cannot be switched off.
- Performance and analytics such as Google Analytics 4, which tells us how visitors use the site in aggregate.
- Functional cookies that remember preferences such as a dismissed banner.
- Advertising and remarketing such as the Google Ads tag, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as intended.
5. Advertising and analytics platforms
As a digital marketing company we operate advertising and measurement tools both on this site and on behalf of clients. These may include Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta advertising products, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube, WhatsApp Business, email service providers and customer relationship management platforms.
Where these platforms set their own identifiers they act as independent controllers for that data and their own privacy policies apply in addition to ours. We do not upload sensitive personal data such as health, financial, biometric or religious information to advertising platforms, and we require the same of our clients.
6. Sharing your information
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who process data on our behalf under contract, professional advisers such as auditors, lawyers and insurers, authorities where we are legally required to disclose information, and an acquirer in the event of a merger or sale of business assets, subject to this policy continuing to apply.
7. Data we process for clients
When we run campaigns, CRM systems or websites for a client we may access personal data belonging to that client customers or leads. In those situations we act only on the client documented instructions, restrict access to team members who need it, and delete or return the data at the end of the engagement.
8. How long we keep data
- Enquiry form submissions that do not become clients: up to 24 months from the last contact.
- Client records and contracts: for the duration of the engagement plus 8 years, to meet Indian tax and accounting requirements.
- Marketing email lists: until you unsubscribe, plus a suppression record so we do not contact you again.
- Website analytics: typically 14 months at event level, then retained only in aggregate.
9. How we protect it
We use TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest with our cloud providers, role based access controls, mandatory two factor authentication on all marketing and data platforms, periodic access reviews and confidentiality obligations for every employee and contractor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we will notify you and the relevant authority of a reportable breach without undue delay.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and, where it applies to you, the EU and UK GDPR, you may ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, withdraw consent at any time, object to or restrict certain processing including direct marketing, request your data in a portable format, nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf, and complain to us and then to the relevant data protection authority.
Write to privacy@quantikdigital.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act on a request.
11. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. International transfers
Some of our providers store or process data outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and provider certifications, and we transfer only what is necessary to deliver the service.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technology or the law. The effective date at the top always shows the current version. For material changes we will post a prominent notice on this page and, where required, contact you directly.
